Permit me to extend my personal congratulations on your acceptance to Cushing Academy. This is a signal achievement, given the number of well-qualified candidates who sought admission this year. We welcome you to Cushing and look forward to greeting you when we gather on campus in September to begin a new and, in its own way, unique experience.

We celebrate Cushing’s existence as the oldest coeducational boarding school in the country. While our school has changed in so many wonderful ways from the days of 1865, Cushing continues to maintain the core of its reality; its purpose, its ideals and aspirations.
