Boys'
Lacrosse
The lacrosse program at Cushing is aware of
which skills need to be developed in order for a particular
athlete to be prepared for his next challenge. By participating
in the Cushing varsity lacrosse program, a player will be
ready to play at the collegiate level.
Many of our players participate in varsity sports
during the Winter Term; therefore, we do not officially start
the season until the beginning of March. However, several
players participate in tournaments, held at Indoor Action
Sports Development Center in nearby Greenfield, during the
fall. In addition, last year many Penguins participated in
a trip to Florida during Spring Break. The trip allowed the
Cushing Lacrosse program to hold training sessions and scrimmage
other high school teams from New England.

Coach:

"Our program offers kids the opportunity to go out every day and the chance to have fun and to feel successful about themselves. Many of our players go on to play at top division 1 colleges but all take with them an understanding of how the game is meant to be played and above all what it means to be part of a team. The skills and lessons we teach go beyond the lacrosse field; we are a family here. We work hard and we play hard, together."
