The sixth Cushing-Oxford Panel Discussion, Modern China and New Confucianism, took place on Wednesday, October 26, and was part of the fall speakers and events series focused on our overarching theme for the fall term, China in Transition in the 21st Century.
 
Sponsored by the Cushing Institute for 21st Century Leadership, the Panel was comprised of three guests: Dr. Ann-Ping Chin, Senior Lecturer, Department of History at Yale University; Dr. Sam (George T.) Crane, Professor of Political Science at Williams College; and Cushing’s Visiting Oxford Scholar for the fall term, Dr. Janette Ryan, Research Associate, Contemporary China Studies Programme at University of Oxford.
