Parent Scoop: Cushing Art Students to Exhibit at Santa Fe Gallery Ten Cushing students will travel to Santa Fe, New Mexico, for the unique opportunity to display and sell their work at the exclusive Jane Sauer Gallery. Under the direction of Director of Visual Arts, Robert Johnson, the students will travel to Santa Fe for the opening reception on April 21, 2007 from 2-5pm. Approximately 35 pieces in a variety of media photography, sculpture, glass, silver and painting will be on display and available for purchase. Says Johnson, It is the dream of every artist to have a show at a prominent gallery and this is an incredible opportunity for our students. No one can believe these pieces were created by high school students their work is unbelievable. The ten students selected to participate are: Paul Tavarez, Jeffrey Blanco, Meredith Joyce, Karly Cardell, Erica Cho, Cameron Webster, Katherine Lundberg, Travis Dean, Alex Novak and Andrea Del Bello. The exhibit runs from April 21 to May 4, 2007. The Jane Sauer Gallery draws artists and crafts people of the highest caliber to offer the finest work to collectors.
