Cushing Academy

Exhibit at James Martin 21st Century School, University of Oxford

In April, the James Martin 21st Century School at the University of Oxford welcomed members of the Cushing community in a special art exhibit featuring the works of student artists Travis Dean, Julia Lim, Haley Pickford, and Robert Nam. Their artwork – paintings, fused glass, silver, and photography – offered various interpretations of the 21st century world and the role of human creativity.

In addition to showcasing their extraordinary works, the Cushing students had the opportunity to see the 21st Century School and learn more about its formal affiliation with the Academy, an initiative that will serve as an educational model and provide 21st century curriculum learning materials for use worldwide. The students’ artwork will remain on permanent display.
