"Pink the Rink" Hockey Benefit

Update! “Pink the Rink” raised $3706 for Dana Farber! Thank you to all who supported us!
On Saturday, January 23 and Sunday, January 24, Cushing Academy will host its first annual “Pink the Rink” hockey event to raise awareness for breast cancer. All event proceeds will support the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. While there is no admission fee for any of the scheduled games, a $5 donation to the cause is encouraged. Additionally, event t-shirts will be on sale for $10 as well as awareness bracelets that have been made by Cushing students. The players will be decked out in pink skate and shirt laces, as well as pink wrist bands, and Cushing students will sing the national anthem. Please come join the fun, support the cause, and enjoy the following games at the Iorio Arena:
Saturday, January 23:
6:30 pm – Cushing Varsity Girls’ Ice Hockey vs. Gardner
Sunday, January 24:
11:00 am – Cushing Varsity Girls’ Ice Hockey vs. Berkshire School
1:00 pm – Cushing Varsity Boys’ Ice Hockey vs. South Kent School
