Cushing Academy

Filmmakers from Invisible Children, a youth-based educational organization that specializes in using the media to expose high school and college students to the consequences of the longest running war in Africa, visited Cushing on March 8, 2010. Using high energy documentary films, these young story tellers are generating an awareness of the Kony rebellion in Uganda, where children are routinely kidnapped and forced to serve as child soldiers.
