Cushing Academy

With summer quickly approaching, we want to remind parents of our storage guidelines. Returning students and students attending our Summer Session may utilize Cushing’s storage program. If your child is not returning, he/she may ship belongings through our Mail Room. Items may not be left in students’ rooms. Storage details are listed below.

Students may purchase boxes, tape, and color-coded labels in the Bookstore.
All boxes/items must be clearly labeled with the student’s name, dormitory, and room number for September.

Students may pay for storage with Penguin Points; all storage fees must be paid at the time the item(s) are stored. Each student’s items will be detailed in a contract; students will sign the contract and be given a copy for their records.

Storage prices are as follows:

$25 - boxes, crates, fan, lamp, stool, mirror, laundry

$30 - basket, tote, stereo, bike, trunk, drawers, duffle bag, guitar

$35 - suitcase, small fridge, TV, shelf

$50 - large refrigerator, desktop computer, chair, bookcase, snowboard/skis

$75 - large furniture (desk, couch, etc.)

Students may choose to ship items via United States Postal Service, FedEx, and UPS. Items being shipped must be paid for at the Bookstore at the time of shipping and can be paid for by Penguin Points, cash or credit card
