Summer Living
This may be your first time living in a communal
residence hall, or you may be a pro. Either way, there’s
plenty to learn about life at Cushing’s Summer Session.
On weekends, we offer a host of activities
to appeal to every interest. For the adventurous, we organize
whale watching excursions, hiking and white-water rafting
trips. For the more culturally oriented, we offer trips
to museums such as the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella
Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, and to concerts such as
those put on by the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Of course, students do not have to leave campus
to have fun on the weekend. Concerts, outdoor movies on
the football field, ice skating in our superb ice arena,
dances, and the Student Center offer those students who
want to stay on campus a wide array of activities and events.
