Civil Society Students Tackle City Hall

We stopped by Mr. Macioci's Civil Society class last week, where the annual City Hall Project challenged students to assume the roles of mayor, city council members, and citizens of a mid-sized American city. The students who acted as mayor and council members were tasked to solve challenging issues facing their city, including closing a 15 million dollar budget deficit. Each mayor presented a different solution to these problems and the citizens questioned these proposals. There were even a few faculty and staff members who participated, including Dr. Bertin!
