"What's the Word?" Chronicle to Feature Cushing's Library

Cushing on Chronicle!

Tune in to Chronicle on Boston's Channel 5 - WCVB on Friday, February 26 at 7:30 p.m., for a look at Cushing's vibrant digital learning environment.

A Chronicle crew visited campus in early February to profile life at a laptop school. Segments filmed include our digital library and our innovative classes, along with conversations with students, faculty, and Dr. Tracy.

They'll be sharing scenes from their visit in Friday's episode:

"What's the Word?" They're all the rage: e-readers, those portable players that can carry a combination library/newsstand wherever you go. There's the Kindle, the Nook, and soon, the iPad. Is it time for you to dump print and go digital? Plus … what's free and a sure fire recession buster? We'll see why libraries are more popular than ever, at a time when their budgets are being cut. And we'll get a glimpse of what may be the library of the future – one without books.

Make plans to catch or record this episode!
