Congratulations Graduates!

Under a grand tent on Drew Common, our seniors officially became Cushing alumni on Saturday, May 22, Cushing’s 135th commencement. Former United States Senator, Lincoln Chafee, was the keynote speaker and Andrew Trexler delivered the valedictorian’s address. We would also like to extend our congratulations to the parents of the Class for 2010 for exceeding their fundraising goal to name the Library Patio in honor of the senior class. During the Senior Class Exercises earlier in the day, graduates were surprised with the unveiling of a giant Cushing seal with the class' name that will be installed on the new brick terrace outside the lower entrance to the Fisher-Watkins Library.
