The Cushing community came together as one on Monday, May 21, for the dedication of the 2012 yearbook in memory of Mrs. Lee Dowling and Mr. Ed Tree, two members of the community who sadly passed away earlier this year.
Mrs. Dowling, a welcome campus presence on campus since 1979, touched the lives of countless students, staff, and faculty families for more than 30 years.
Mr. Ed Tree, accompanist for the Cushing Chorus and director of the Jazz Band, joined the community since 2008. His dedication to our students and endless energy touched and inspired many.
Mr. Paul Dowling, Lee’s husband, accepted the dedication, amid a roomful of applause and fond memories. He is pictured here reading the dedication after the assembly with fellow faculty member, Mrs. Nancy Boyle.
