Honor Council Members Commended

On Monday, May 21, Headmaster Tracy met with the five members of the Student Honor Council to commend them on their work upholding the Cushing Academy Honor Code over the course of the year.

The Council, which was founded last fall, participated in disciplinary committee meetings, deliberated on and recommended consequences for school rule violations, and met with students to discuss accountability. “It is an honor to give you this award,” said Headmaster Tracy as he presented each member with a compass. “Your position was one of the least public, but the most important within our community. The impact you had was significant and as mentors and role models, you laid the groundwork for an even stronger Council in the future.”

Members of the Student Honor Council include:
Meghan Chenausky '12
Ariel McDonald '12
Grace Centauro '12
Brooke Roberts '13
Amanda Proia '13
