Dave Ungrady on Decision-Making and Resilience

Author, journalist, speaker, and media specialist Dave Ungrady spoke to the entire Cushing community today on the topics of decision-making and resilience, using the Len Bias tragedy to accompany his talk. Afterwards, he met with members of the Athletic Leadership Program. “As athletes, you have to be selfish to an extent, because you have goals and ambitions that only you can achieve. But you are in a leadership role – accept and embrace that role. Your life is shaped by the choices you make, and resilience is very important. Take care of yourself and embrace your challenges. Don’t fight them – embrace them.
