Cushing at the Boston Marathon

On Marathon Monday, April 20, approximately 60 students headed to Boston to volunteer with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as runner guides for the 119th running of the Boston Marathon. At the same time, two Cushing faculty members were running the race – Mr. Bill Troy and Ms. Rebecca Lefcourt. This was Mr. Troy’s 16th time running for Dana-Farber, and Ms. Lefcourt’s first, a run she made in honor of her parents and in support of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where they both receive cancer treatment. All of us at Cushing are proud of our volunteers and the athletes!
