Cushing volleyball competes in the New England Prep School Girls' Volleyball league, which has A, B, and C classes. Cushing plays teams from all three classes, but is part of the B division. In recent seasons we have advanced to post-season play, and we have had several players go on to play at the collegiate level.
Our program is founded upon the values of teamwork, effort, spirit of competition, and love of the game. We try to balance working hard and having fun. We are looking for student athletes to help us to reach our full potential. We hope to attract players with a great work ethic, enthusiasm and effort--players that will help the program move forward in the years ahead.
We practice and compete in the Watkins Field House—a 30,000 square foot, state-of-the-art, $12 million athletic center that opened in 2016. The building houses two courts, along with fitness and athletic training facilities.
