    2017 NEPSAC Class AA Champions
    National Tournament Elite 8
    2019 Western New England runner-up

Cushing basketball participates in the NEPSAC class AA, which is considered to be the top league in the nation. Cushing’s basketball tradition is strong, having won a New England championship as recently as 2017 and appearing in the 2016 game. Over the years, Cushing has provided a balanced attack of academics, coaching, and skill development for student-athletes, enabling many to go on and play for some of the top university programs such as Virginia Tech, UConn, Syracuse, Butler, Providence, Missouri, and countless other division 1, 2, and 3 teams across the country.

The off-season schedule provides the same demands as those of the top college programs. Pick-up games are part of our daily routine along with individual workouts throughout the week. Certified strength and conditioning coaches are available to offer individualized programs to our players.

In addition to player development on and off the court, finding the “right fit” is a crucial piece of making your college decision. Many factors are to be considered, such as academics, financial-aid/athletic scholarship, style of play, and coaching, and may change based on the needs of the individual’s family. Coach Cormier has experience at every level of college basketball, and his network is strong within the basketball community. Coach understands the recruiting process and what attracts coaches at the next level.
