Richard Devin joined the faculty at Cushing Academy in September 1985. A native of Brockton, Mass., he attended Brockton High School, where he participated in football, ice hockey, and baseball. He graduated from Amherst College in 1984, earning a B.A. in economics while continuing to play football and hockey. At Cushing, he has taught mathematics and coached football, hockey, and baseball at the varsity level. He is currently teaching Honors Precalculus and Calculus and coaching football and boys’ ice hockey. He resides in Vose House with his wife, Jessica, and children, Abigail ’06, William, and Madeline.
