Students create a journey that is uniquely theirs in our Summer Session program.

With a wide variety of engaging courses and activities, there’s something for everyone. Every student can achieve (and exceed!) their individual academic and personal goals.


Morning Programs

Students begin their Summer Session days with a morning program of their choice.

Upper School

Students entering 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade have a choice of four enriching morning programs:

Excel Program

A range of college prep and Academy courses designed for credit and to prepare students for rigorous college courses.

Immerse Program

This program offers language classes and cultural immersion for students learning English. This program is highly recommended for students looking to continue their education in the United States. 

Students improve their fluency in our three or five-week program. They are tested when they first arrive and evaluated each week. Success is fostered in small class sizes with experienced teachers who meet to discuss progress.

Connect Program

Learn to learn! The process of learning is as important as the content students learn. This program has 3 key components:

  • Strategies to improve English language skills
  • Review and practice of math skills
  • Study techniques

Express Program

Multi-media studio art courses introducing students of all artistic abilities to the fundamentals of color, composition, line, and space in drawing, painting, pottery, and metalsmithing. Techniques are learned through hands-on experience, allowing students to improve their creative talents.

Middle School

Students going into 6th, 7th or 8th grade choose 1 of 2 programs to spend their mornings in:

Explore Program

A range of classes, workshops, and field trips which develop students’ confidence and skills for success. Students choose one major and one minor class:

Major classes:

Minor classes:

  • Legends in Literature

Create Program

Multi-media art studio classes, workshops, and field trips introducing students to color, composition, line, and space in drawing, painting, pottery, and other media. Students learn by doing and improve their artistic skills.


Afternoon Classes and Activities

In the afternoons, we offer additional academic classes to develop skills or discover new interests, artistic opportunities to enhance one's creative side, and athletic activities to get outside and maintain fitness. There’s something for everyone.
