Our Admissions Process
Applications are now being accepted for Summer 2026. We evaluate applications and make decisions on a rolling basis, however, our classes and programs fill on a first-come, first-serve basis — so we recommend that you apply earlier, rather than later.
To submit an application, you’ll need to create an account in MyCushingSummer, which is the student and parent portal for Cushing Summer. From there, you’ll submit your application details.
If you are accepted into the program, you’ll receive a congratulatory email, and an enrollment contract will appear in MyCushingSummer. You will need to sign the contract and submit your tuition deposit within 10 days of acceptance. Applicants are not considered fully admitted until the contract is signed and submitted along with the required deposit.
Accepted students will receive a packet of information about course selection, transportation, suggested clothing, and other matters once the signed contract and deposit is received.

Admissions For International Students
New international applications will be accepted no later than April 15 to ensure priority class selection and allow ample time for health and visa paperwork to be processed. (Please note: applying by this date does not guarantee that all age groups will still have openings available. Enrollment is rolling, so we encourage applications as early as possible.)

Tuition and any required fees cover the following:
- All morning program classes and workshops
- All afternoon classes and activities (*some activities incur additional fees for supplies/transportation)
- All meals
- Furnished dormitory room (boarding students only)
- All books and supplies
- Athletic practice uniforms
- Linens (boarding students only)
- On-campus social and athletic activities
- Educational field trips and the Summer Semi-Formal
- Bus transportation for all off-campus activities, events, and excursions***
***Note: Required deposit for ticket/admission charges for optional weekend trips are not included.

Deposit + Payment Information
MyCushingSummer is where you will pay all deposits, tuition balances, and fees.
Once accepted to Cushing Summer, the signed contract must be returned within 10-days, along with a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 to guarantee placement. Contracts and deposits received beyond that time period may be accepted based on availability.
Final payments for the summer must be received in full by April 27, 2026 for all students, regardless of their program session. Students applying after the final balance due date of April 27, 2026 must pay the entire bill immediately after acceptance.
